发明名称 MARTENSITIC STAINLESS STEELS CONTAINING HIGH CARBON CONTENT AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME
摘要 PURPOSE: A high carbon martensite stainless steel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remarkably reduce the size of primary carbide formed at the coagulating structure by applying a strip casting method. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing high carbon martensite stainless steel comprises the next step. Stainless molten steel containing C of 0.40~0.80% and Cr of 11~16% is supplied from a turndish through a nozzle to a steel pool to cast a stainless thin plate. A hot rolled strip is manufactured at a reduction ratio of 5~40% from the stainless thin plate using an inline roller such that primary carbide in the hot rolled strip micro-structure becomes 10μm. Martensitic stainless steel is composed of Si of 0.1~1. 0%, Mn of 0.1~1. 0%, Ni of 0~1.0%, N of 0~0.1%, S of 0~0.04%, P of 0~0.05%, residual Fe and other impurities.
