PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a transcriber thereof are provided to effectively eliminate the wrinkle and vibration of a transfer belt on the periphery of an area detected by a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of developing units forms a visible image. A transfer belt(61) transfers the visible image to a printing medium. One or more sensors(400,420) sense a mark on the transfer belt. A supporting unit(300) supports the transfer belt. The supporting unit comprises a first supporting portion(360) and a second supporting portion(380). The first and second supporting portions support the two different parts of the transfer belt in the rotational direction of the transfer belt. |
