PURPOSE: A silicon carbide-coated polycarbonate film and a bulletproof material therwith are provided to improve repulsive force using silicon carbide with high hardness. CONSTITUTION: A bulletproof material with a silicon carbide-coated polycarbonate film is composed as follows. Multiple polycarbonate films and silicon carbide coating layers are alternately laminated. When impact energy, such as bullets, is applied to the material, the outermost polycarbonate film first absorbs the impact energy, and the outermost silicon carbide layer allows the impact energy to bounce off.
