The can has a pipe opened at both ends and a flange shaped bearing plate (9) formed at a pump side. The plate separates a motor stator space from a pump chamber (11). A sleeve shaped bearing seat (14) is formed at the plate height coaxially to the can, where the seat carries a bearing (15) for a motor shaft (5). A reinforcement pipe is mounted external to the can, in which the seat and the can are integrated to form one piece.
