PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing copolymers of alpha-olefin and ethylene is provided to secure high reaction efficiency compared with an existing production method of an ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer and to maintain high productivity even in a high temperature polymerization process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing copolymers of alpha-olefin and ethylene comprises a step of solution-polymerizing ethylene and alpha-olefin comonomer in the presence of a catalyst composition including a transition metal catalyst of chemical formula 1 and C3 - C20 organic solvent in a single reactor or serial or parallel secondary continuous reactor. The content of the aromatic monomer In the whole copolymers is 0.1 - 90 weight%.
