PURPOSE: A producing method of fermented soybean paste using medical herbs, semisulcospira libertina, and tegillarca granosa is provided to control the unique smell and taste of the fermented soybean paste, and to improve the flavor and the texture of the fermented soybean paste. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of fermented soybean paste comprises the following steps: washing semisulcospira libertina for removing soil; boiling the semisulcospira libertina, and removing shells to obtain semisulcospira libertina flesh; washing the flesh using the water which boiled the semisulcospira libertina; washing tegillarca granosa, and boiling before removing shells to obtain tegillarca granosa flesh; washing the tegillarca granosa flesh with the water which boiled the tegillarca granosa; mixing the water which boiled the semisulcospira libertina, the water which boiled the tegillarca granosa, washed soybeans, and a herbal alcohol extract; boiling the dipped soybeans, and crushing and molding to obtain soybean blocks; aging the soybean blocks for 48~72hours; and adding the semisulcospira libertina and the tegillarca granosa into the soybean blocks before fermenting for 6~8months.
