METHOD FOR BIOLOGICAL TREATMENT OF ORGANIC SLUDGE AND APPARATUS USED THEREFOR

PURPOSE: A method for biologically processing organic sludge and an apparatus for the same are provided to improve the conversion rate sludge into methane and minimize the generation of byproducts from a fenton processing process. CONSTITUTION: Organic sludge is methane-fermented in a biological processing bath(200) under an anaerobic condition. The remains of the organic sludge from the biological processing bath are separated into a remaining solution and digestible sludge in a solid-liquid separator(202). A part of the digestible sludge is undergone a fenton processing process based on iron ions and hydrogen peroxide in order to change the property of the sludge. The sludge with the changed property is transferred to the biological processing bath.
