PURPOSE: A backlight unit with insert-injected chassis and mold frame is provided to prevent the separation of chassis from a mold frame due to external shock or temperature raise since the width of the inner opening making contact with the mold frame is formed to be smaller than that of an outer opening. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit comprises a mold frame(20), which is coupled to the opening(30) of a chassis(10) by insert injection. In the cross section of the opening of the chassis, the width of the inner opening(60) making contact with the mold frame is smaller than that of an outer opening(70). The opening of the chassis comprises a tapered surface, which becomes wider from the inner opening to the outer opening. |
