<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forgery-preventive printed medium which is suitable for a relatively small lot production and can be easily checked for its genuineness and a method for checking the genuineness of printed mediums. SOLUTION: The genuineness-checkable forgery-preventive printed medium 10 comprises a medium base material 11 having a genuineness checking region 11a, a color variable printed layer 12 which is provided on the region 11a and can be seen in different colors as seen from different directions, and light- reactive printed layers 13, which emit a fluorescent light under exposure to ultraviolet or infrared rays, arranged on the layer 12 in a pattern. In the method for checking genuineness of printed mediums, the printed medium 10 is irradiated with ultraviolet or infrared rays to generate a fluorescent light in a printed portion to check the genuineness thereof by a mechanical recognition or visual inspection.</p> |
