SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR POWER ALLOCATION OF DOWNLINK CODE-CHANNELS FOR VOICE SERVICES IN HIGH-SPEED WIRELESS COMMUNICATION NETWORKS

PURPOSE: A down link code channel power allocation method for the voice service and a system thereof are provided to transmit the data with the electric power lower than the standard power, if transmission available data amount is bigger than the level of the voice packet. CONSTITUTION: A base station(330) examines the downlink channel state based on the CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) information received from a user terminal(310). The base station produces the transmit power gain. The base station adds or reduces the transmission power gain calculated in the standard power. By using the power allocated, the base station transmits the voice packet. The user terminal receives the voice packet by the power of the transmission power gain being added or reduced on to the standard power from the base station.
