PURPOSE: A method for preparing lipid and specific fatty acid from micro algae by irradiating light is provided to reduce linoleic acid content and to enhance oleic acid content. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing lipid and specific fatty acid from micro algae by irradiating light comprises: a step of irradiating light of long wavelength and culturing micro algae; and a step of irradiating light of long wavelength using light emitting diode. The long wavelength is 640-670 nm of red wavelength.
