PURPOSE: A device for fixing the progressive direction of a chamfering machine is provided to control the chambering amount of a processing member by determining the exposed degree of a rotary cutting tool of a cutting device. CONSTITUTION: A device for fixing the progressive direction of a chamfering machine comprises a horizontal guide unit(11), a coupler(60), and a plate. The center of the horizontal guide unit, which is in contact with a processing member, is empty. The horizontal guide unit is inserted into the coupler. The plate is coupled to the coupler at the center of the horizontal guide unit at a right angle to the horizontal guide.
