摘要 FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: nuclear magnetic resonance signal is registered for working substance that fills specimen pore space. Note here that working substance is inert gas. Calibration cavity is formed in specimen to be places in tight container communicated with inert gas source and evacuated. Specimen is saturated with inert gas that fills said pore space and calibration space at a time. NMR characteristics of inert gas in specimen are measured. Contribution of nuclear spins in NMT characteristics is isolated from that of spins in pore space and those in calibration space. Then specimen porosity is defined by formula K[%]=(Vc/Vs)*(Ns/Nc)*100, where Vc is volume of calibration space, Vs is specimen volume (minus calibration space), Ns is NMR signal amplitude (or weight factor in relaxation processes) of nuclear spins in pore space, Nc is NMR signal amplitude (or weight factor in relaxation processes) of nuclear spins in calibration space. ^ EFFECT: porosity measurement in nanosecond range, higher accuracy. ^ 6 cl, 1 dwg
