FIELD: weapons and ammunition. ^ SUBSTANCE: small arms magazine includes box frame with bends in upper part in order to retain cartridges, cartridge follower with projection on upper surface, spring, cover and cartridges located in two rows in staggered order. Cavities are made in front and rear walls throughout the height of magazine on longitudinal symmetry axis of magazine housing, and ogival section of bullet and cartridge case flange with long bullet are arranged in the above cavities. Transverse slot is made in middle part of projection on cartridge follower, and spring-loaded slide is installed in the above slot with possibility of being moved along it and interaction with cartridge. Side surface of slide faces the cartridge and is chamfered at acute angle. Upper surface of slide, as well as cartridge follower part located in cavity in rear part of magazine are made flush with projection on upper surface of cartridge follower. In empty magazine and magazine equipped with cartridges with long bullet the slide is offset in transverse direction behind longitudinal symmetry axis of magazine housing. ^ EFFECT: quick equipping of cartridges of various types in magazine. ^ 6 dwg |
