FIELD: construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: method includes digging a narrow trench with soil discharge to an edge and simultaneous installation of a drain, filling of the drain and back filling of the trench. After the drain filling, side prisms are cut in the upper part of the trench, a symmetrical funnel is formed with a width at the top that exceeds the trench size by not more than its two widths and the depth of not more than a half of the maximum depth of the drain installation. The cultivated soil is laid onto the filled drain. The funnel is filled with soil that was previously taken out from the trench. The method is carried out with the help of a device comprises a base tractor, a chain working element, a hopper with serially installed a pipelayer and a filler. At the back wall of the hopper symmetrically to its axis there is an inclined splitter mounted with profile knives pairwise installed along the height and made of horizontal inclined cutting elements protruding beyond the limits of the hopper side walls installed at the angle to the vertical line. The length of the horizontal part of the lower pair of knives is equal to the hopper width, and in each of subsequent upper pairs of knives it is increased by a value calculated according to a mathematical dependence. ^ EFFECT: increased quality of drain installation, ensuring proper connection of the drain with a field surface, eliminating necessity of its additional planning, expanded area of the narrow-trench method application. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg |
