PURPOSE: A multimedia service providing apparatus in a vehicle is provided to enable downloading and uploading of digital content by connecting a head unit in a vehicle to various CE(Consumer Electronics) devices. CONSTITUTION: A multimedia service providing apparatus in a vehicle comprises a head unit(111) and one or more sub head units(113,115). The head unit is connected to an external terminal and an external server offering multimedia service and controls multimedia data transmitted from the external terminal or the external server. The sub head units are arranged in a seat of the vehicle and connected to the head unit to receive the multimedia data transmitted from the external terminal or the external server.
