PURPOSE: A natural language based travel recommending apparatus and a method thereof are provided to search and recommend a travel destination based on a site and theme which a user wants by analyzing the user's intention through a language analysis in case the user asks the desired information with a natural language. CONSTITUTION: A question analysis unit(10) analyzes a travel related question of a user and extracts question analysis information for grasping user's intention from a document index database(620). A travel site searcher(20) searches recommended travel destinations for the user from a travel site database(610) by using the question analysis information. A travel recommendation offering unit (70) offers the recommended travel destinations to the user. The question analysis information comprises POI(Point Of Interest) information, theme information, site information, and miscellaneous information. |
