PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a label bonding operation under a high effect of preventing a cylindrical container from being rotated while restricting a label and machine costs. SOLUTION: There is provided a labeling machine comprising a label supplying means, a container transferring means for use in transferring a cylindrical container past a label bonding position and a negative pressure sucking type bonding drum having a plurality of suction holes at its outer peripheral surface so as to bond a label received from the label supplying means to the cylindrical container, wherein some forming grooves are formed at the outer peripheral surface of the adhering drum, a forming means provided with some forming protrusions for bending part of the label main body to form a rotary stopper is arranged around the bonding drum and the forming protrusions and then the forming protrusions are constituted in such a way that they can be moved forward or rearward in compliance with a passing timing of each of the forming grooves.
