PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker excellent in heat-retaining performance while preventing deterioration such as yellowing and drying of rice. SOLUTION: The rice cooker includes: a pot 2 stored inside the rice cooker body (not shown) to put the rice and water in; an outer lid (not shown) freely openably and closably covering an upper opening part of the pot 2; a heating coil 3 which heats the pot 2; a display 27; an operating part 22; and a region setting tool 24 which sets a region in which the rice cooker body to be used. The region setting tool 24 is configured with a combination of operations of a plurality of operation switches 22a provided in the operating part 22, and converts the adjusted temperature in stabilized heat-retention in accordance with the setting state by the region setting tool 24 so as to control a rice temperature in stabilized heat-retention to the suitable temperature for the region where the rice cooker is used, thereby reducing heat-retention in a state of overheating.
