The invention relates to a device which is slipped onto the stem of an artificial flower, and in which a message is written or can be written, possibly being intended for one or more other persons. This device consists of a cylindrically shaped tube (I) comprising a slot (2) through which passes a piece of paper (3). Two pierced rubber stoppers (4-5) each fit in at one of the two ends of the cylindrical tube (I), which allows the device to be held fixed on the stem of the flower (8). A ribbon (6) with a wax seal (7) stuck to one of the ends of the paper (3) allows the user to unwind this piece of paper. In order to rewind the paper (3), it is sufficient to hold the cylindrical tube (I) and at the same time to turn the stem of the artificial flower (8). <IMAGE>
