Shuttering for floors of floor beams is supported on a cross member 6 on a prop 2 on which it is adjustably carried by a sleeve 3 having pin and hole adjustment with the prop, a fine adjustment being provided between the sleeve 3 and the member 6 either by means of a sleeve 5 screwed on the sleeve 3 or by a wedge between the sleeve 3 and the cross member, Figs. 4, 5 (not shown). The cross member 6 is an inverted channel and may project on one or both sides. Beam shuttering may be supported by props at each side Fig. 9 (not shown) or by single central props the side panels being supported on the cross member and the bottom by the head 8 of the prop Fig. 10 (not shown). The prop 1, Fig. 11 supporting the beam shuttering bottom 31 is mounted by means of pin and hole adjustment 12 on an adjustable screwed sleeve 11 on a tube Sa resting on the ground. The cross member comprises two parallel parts 13<SP>1</SP> between which are slidable clamping blocks 19, 19<SP>1</SP> which secure in position the bottoms of the side panels 24 of the shuttering, the tops being secured by stays 30 held in clamps at the ends of the cross member.</p> |
