<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary lithium-ion battery that prevents lithium ions from entering an outwardly directed section, thereby preventing battery capacity deterioration, and to provide a vehicle and an apparatus mounted with the lithium-ion battery. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium-ion secondary battery 1 includes a positive electrode plate 30 with positive active material layers 31, 35 that are arranged on both surfaces of a positive-electrode current-collecting plate 38; a negative electrode plate 20, with negative active material layers 21, 25 that are arranged on both surfaces of a negative-electrode current-collecting plate 28; a separator 50; a power-generating element 10 constituted via the separator arranged between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate; and an electrolyte 60 containing lithium ions that is held by the power-generating element.
