NOVEL PAENIBACILLUS POLYMYXA AND MICROORGANISM AGENT COMPRISING THE STRAINS FOR PREVENTING PHYTOPHTORA CAPSICI OF PLANTS

PURPOSE: A novel Paenibacillus polymyxa and a microorganism formulation containing the same for preventing phytophthora rot is provided to prevent plant diseases in advance and to stably cultivate crops. CONSTITUTION: A Paenibacillus polymyxa No.72(KACC 91502P) is isolated from the soil. The Paenibacillus polymyxa has a base sequence of sequence number 1. The Paenibacillus polymyxa grows in TSB(triptic soy broth) at 15-30 °C, pH6-9. A microorganism formulation contains the Paenibacillus polymyxa. The plant is Capsicum annuum, tomato, cucumis sativus, watermelon, or lettuce.
