PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove electrostatic charges from the surface of a liquid crystal display panel, and to surely fix the liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel 20 having a conductive film 22 on its surface, a metal frame 10 for housing the liquid crystal display panel 20, and a flexible wiring board 30 fixed to the liquid crystal display panel 20. The metal frame 10 includes a lock part 11 to lock the liquid crystal display panel 20. The wiring board 30 is fixed to the liquid crystal display panel 20 in a bent state. The liquid crystal display panel 20 is pressed to the lock part 11 via a reaction force stored by the distortion of the wiring board 30, and thereby the conductive film 22 is pressed to the lock part 11 included in the metal frame 10 to be abutted.
