<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus for restoring the load of rotation of a photoreceptor 1 and stabilizing the rotation speed. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus includes at least one photoreceptor 1, a cleaning blade as an elastic member for cleaning the surface of the photoreceptor 1, a driving motor 150 for rotating the photoreceptor 1, a load detecting means 205 for detecting the load of the driving motor 150, an image forming section 10 for performing image forming operation of forming a toner image on the photoreceptor 1, and a control section 200 for controlling them. The control section 200, during the image forming operation, interrupts the image forming operation when the load becomes lower than a predetermined value, idles an image carrier by increasing the rotation speed, and cleans the surface of the image carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
