PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing coke, which enables to prevent the falling of hardware, reduce repairing frequency and works, achieve the protection of a coke oven body for a long period, and stably efficiently produce the coke for a long period. SOLUTION: The oven outlet structure of the coke oven of form in which the door frame of an oven lid is protected with a protection plate tightened with a backstay is characterized in that a space surrounded with a protection ledge 37, a protection plate 38, a head plate 34, and a door frame 35 exists on the combustion chamber side of the oven outlet portion, and a method for stably producing coke for a long period with the same.
