PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin of a high molecular weight and a high strength comprising a diaryl carbonate or polycarbonate and a specific oxymethylene copolymer, and a manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: The resin is manufactured by melting-kneading the diaryl carbonate or the polycarbonate and the oxymethylene copolymer in which an amount of the co-monomer is 5.0-50 pts.wt. relative to 100 pts.wt. of the oxymethylene copolymer in the presence of an ester interchange catalyst.
