PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output signals with a simple configuration and high precision by adjusting the voltage output from a DA converter based on averaged results when two or more voltages are detected for the same input data. SOLUTION: A signal generator 10 includes: a DA converter 20; a sample-hold section 22 provided between the DA converter and the output terminal of the signal generator; a comparator 24 that compares the voltage outputted from an analog circuit 100 that transmits the output voltage of the DA converter to output a signal in accordance with the input data and the output voltage of the DA converter; and a controller that gives comparison data to the DA converter in place of input data during a hold period to make the same output a comparison voltage in accordance with the comparison data and to make the comparator compare the voltage of the signal outputted from the analog circuit with the comparison voltage and adjusts the output voltage outputted from the DA converter in accordance with the input data based on comparison results of the comparator.
