PURPOSE: An image forming apparatus and a method for providing local user interface thereof are provided to form a local UI screen of an image forming apparatus by using web applications. CONSTITUTION: A first display unit(130) displays the function of a web content through a web browser. The storage unit(120) stores a first web application corresponding to the function of an image forming apparatus or a second web application which the third party offers. A web server (150) receives a request for accessing to the local UI from the print control units(200-1~200-n). A controller(170) confirms the display of a web application having an individual context and generates the UI according to the confirmation results.
