PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric type deionized water producing apparatus which ensures low power consumption and improved treatment performance, while keeping a preferable water quality. SOLUTION: The electric type deionized water producing apparatus includes: a pair of electrode chambers consisting of a positive electrode chamber E1 and a negative electrode chamber E2; a concentration chamber C which is located between the positive electrode chamber E1 and negative electrode chamber E2; a cation desalting chamber D1 which is located between the positive electrode chamber E1 and concentration chamber C, and adjacent to the positive electrode chamber E1 via a first cation exchange membrane c1, and adjacent to the concentration chamber C via second cation exchange membrane c2, and packed with a cation exchanger; and an anion desalting chamber D2 which is located between the negative electrode chamber E2 and concentration chamber C, and adjacent to the negative electrode chamber E2 via a first anion exchange membrane a1, and adjacent to the concentration chamber C via second anion exchange membrane a2, and packed with an anion exchanger.
