The present invention relates to a method for producing a component (1) made of a composite material, which is made of at least one matrix material (4) and a plurality of fibers (F, FL) embedded therein, wherein the method comprises the following steps: providing a forming cavity (V) for the component (1) to be produced; disposing expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*) in the cavity (V) and fibers (F, FL) at least partially surrounding the expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*); closing the cavity (V) and evacuating the cavity (V) such that the expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*) can expand; expanding the expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*); introducing the at least one matrix material (4) in the form of a fluid into the cavity (V); and removing the component (1) formed of the cured matrix material (4), the expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*) and the fibers (F, FL), wherein the expandable component parts (2, 2*, 20, 21, 200, 200*) and fibers (F, FL) are embedded in the matrix material (4). |
