PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device, a driving support method and a computer program for making it possible to issue a warning according to the content of regulation of each lane when a vehicle enters from the lane on which it currently travels to the other lane even in a road section where the content of the regulation of each lane irregularly or frequently varies. SOLUTION: The driving support device is configured to detect lane division structures installed on the peripheral road of a vehicle (S3), and to, when the detected lane division structures are continuously installed with intervals where the vehicle can enter, set a virtual line connecting the respective lane division structures on the basis of the coordinates of each of the lane division structures forming the interval (S7), and to issue a warning (S11), when it is determined that a self-vehicle crosses the set virtual lane.
