PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of tortoise shell patterned crack ceramics is provided to control condition of firing temperature after applying glaze composition in a constant rate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of tortoise shell patterned crack ceramics comprises next steps: plasticizing a celadon porcelain or a white porcelain to 850-900 deg. Celsius; coating with tortoise shell pattern cracking glaze on the celadon porcelain or the white porcelain; plasticizing from 770 deg. Celsius under weak reducing atmosphere; making a deep reducing atmosphere at 960 deg. Celsius; increasing firing temperature by making weak reducing atmosphere; zaibatsu plasticizing under deep reducing atmosphere at 1,250 deg. Celsius; and rapidly cooling after taking out the specimen.
