<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arrange a compound in a vehicle having a certain limited capacity by using a compound stored in a solid form. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating exhaust gas pollutant by a system having an exhaust line (L) including a catalyst means (62) for selective catalytic reduction and an injection means (82) for injecting a reducing agent into the exhaust line (L) to treat the pollutant includes: thermally decomposing an organic nitride component into a mixture composed of at least a gas-phase reducing agent containing ammonia, a different gas-phase reducing agent and steam; compressing the mixture followed by cooling to condense the steam to liquid-phase water, and also obtain the gas phase of one reducing agent of the two reducing agents and the liquid phase of the other reducing agent; and injecting the one reducing agent into the exhaust line for treating the exhaust gas pollutant in cooperation with the catalyst means (62). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
