PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of causing a crack in an angular part because the angular part of a long-sized hollow ceramic member is thick-walled compared to the other part in a drying process of a molding of the long-sized hollow ceramic member. SOLUTION: The long-sized hollow ceramic member 1 has a hollow part 11 penetrating in a longitudinal direction. The outer periphery of a cross section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction is polygonal, and through holes 12 are longitudinally provided in outer peripheral angular parts in the cross section. Since the outer peripheral angular parts are provided with the through holes 12 extending in the longitudinal direction, drying of the angular parts is accelerated to restrain crack initiation in the angular parts.
