FOLATE-CHITOSAN-GRAFT-PEI COPOLYMER AND GENE DELIVERY CARRIER BY USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An FC-g-PEI copolymer is provided to function as effective cancer cell target shRNA delivery carrier due to excellent composite formation capability with shRNA and to ensure physiochemical properties suitable for an aerosol gene delivery system. CONSTITUTION: A folate-chitosan-graft-PEI(FC-g-PEI) copolymer is represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, K is an integer of 20-200; X is an integer of 1-10; M is an integer of 10-100; and PEI is polyethyleneimine. The FC-g-PEI/DNA gene delivery complex is manufactured by the FC-g-PEI copolymers, wherein the DNA is siRNA or shRNA. An aerosol composition for treating lung cancer includes the FC-g-PEI/Akt1 shRNA gene delivery complex as an active ingredient.
