METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING WC BASED ELECTRIC CONTACT AND ELECTRIC CONTACT MANUFACTURED BY THE SAME

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a tungsten carbide based electric contact and the electric contact made by the same are provided to improve sinterability and wettabi1ity by using a crucible. CONSTITUTION: Tungsten carbide powder is mixed with cobalt powder(S31). A forming element is made by inputting and pressurizing the mixed powder to a crucible(S32). The forming element is sintered at the crucible(S33). An electric contact is formed by positioning and sintering infiltrant on the forming element(S34). The sintered and infiltrated electric contact is processed and post-processed(S35).
