<p>A dress-type garment is formed of one or more strips of fabrics wound helically about the torso of the wearer and having contiguous edges of adjacent convolutions joined by helical seams. A pants-type garment is similarly formed by strips helically wound to form the legs, with upper end portions of the strips cut and joined by a central seam to form the upper portion of the pants. Another embodiment of a dress-type garment is made of first, second and third squares with two adjacent edges of the second square joined to two adjacent edges of the first square and the other two edges of the second square joined to two adjacent edges of the third square.</p> |
