PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing herb mixture extract is provided to ensure antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects and to treat atopic dermatitis. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition for improving skin condition contains 0.1-10 weight% of mixture extract of Zanthoxylum schinifolium, Pulsatilla koreana, Usnea barbata, Illicium verum Hooker fil., Echinacea, and propolis as an active ingredient. The skin condition improvement includes anti-inflammation and atopic dermatitis treatment. The mixture extract is isolated using water or ethanol at 95-100°C for 2-3 hours. The cosmetic composition is used in the form of lotion, nutrition cream, massage cream, essence, or pack.
