The actuator (1) has an optical motion detector (2) i.e. passive infrared motion detector, signal-technically connected with a building engineering device for passive detection of an infrared source. A button or switch (3) is mechanically coupled with the motion detector, supplied with voltage for switching-on and/or switching-off the current supply of the motion detector and the building engineering device and formed in mechanical, electrical and capacitive types. A window (7) and a lens (8) are equipped with a transparent dirt-deflecting layer and/or a transparent hard layer.
