<p>PURPOSE: A method for operating a mobile terminal is provided to enable an accurate movement of a cursor without a touch pen by providing a direction key which moves a cursor by a character or column unit when entering a character. CONSTITUTION: A keypad for entering a character is displayed on one region of a motion screen(S320). The character entered through the keypad is displayed on a certain region of the motion screen (S330). If the region in which the character is displayed is selected, the keypad is changed to a direction key and displayed(S360). The cursor displayed on the motion screen is moved according to the direction that the direction key indicates, and then displayed(S370). If the command such as long touch, double touch, drag and multi-touch, and a switching key is entered in the region on which the character is displayed, the keypad is converted to the direction key, and then displayed.</p> |
