PURPOSE: A method and apparatus for processing a user interface in an image processor are provided to efficiently designate the region of interest by inputting a location. CONSTITUTION: If the region of interest is set on the image displayed on a screen, a controller(120) extracts the location information on the region of interest. The controller displays the location information on the updated region of the interest and the image corresponding to the location of the region of interest whenever the location information is updated. An image signal processor(130) converts the location information on the region of interest to the graphic data, and processes the image of the region of interest. An FIFO type buffer array stores the location of the region of interest.
