<p>The method involves recording an input signal and determining a sound having fundamental frequency and several harmonic overtones in the input signal. The frequency transposition is performed as per continuous transposition function, in which there is no compression below a knee point frequency and linear compression with compression factor above the knee point frequency. The transposed overtones are shifted to an integer multiple of the fundamental frequency as per the transposition function. An independent claim is included for hearing aid.</p> |
