PURPOSE: A rail vehicle is provided to easily secure the airtight seal of an inspection cover in a fire by employing a thermal expansion seal rubber being expanded by heat. CONSTITUTION: A rail vehicle comprises a passenger room, a machine room, and an inspection cover(100) which is installed in a partition blocking the machine room and the passenger room. The inspection cover includes a peripheral edge which faces an inspection cover prop of an under frame when the inspection cover is closed with the partition and an expansion material(190) which is filled between the peripheral edge and the partition and expanded over the predetermined temperature.
