PURPOSE: A monitoring device for a vehicle is provided to prevent the sense of difference due to a cover by forming a cover similar to the outer shape of a car body. CONSTITUTION: A monitoring device for a vehicle comprises an image acquisition part(110), a driving part(130), a case, and a cover assembly(140). The image acquisition part gets the vehicles external image. The driving part transfers the image acquisition part. The case accepts the image acquisition part. The case has one or more guide grooves. One or more protrusions(121c,143a) of the cover assembly are combined in one or more guide grooves. The cover assembly is interlocked with the movement of the image acquisition part and exposes the image acquisition part to the vehicle outside.
