The element (21) has a retaining unit with a rib (27) and a ring (31) for assuring the axial retention of the element in a window-wiper device in two directions. The unit has a rib (23c) to limit the dent of an axle (23) in a movable element i.e. crank lever, when the axle is inserted in the movable element via a bearing. The unit has a collar with a relief that is cooperated with a part of the bearing located on a side of a brush arm (7) to assure the axial retention of the axle in the bearing in the direction opposite to the direction of the insertion of the axle in the movable element.
