PURPOSE: A seed, a seed chuck, and a chucking apparatus of a silicon ingot are provided to prevent the head of the seed and the body from being separated by distributing the load applied to the head of the seed through a pin. CONSTITUTION: A seed(40) comprises a body and a first notch of a groove type formed in the body. A weight(20) is combined with a cable which is connected to an external pull up apparatus A seed chuck(30) is combined in the lower part of a weight. The seed chuck comprises a through hole which is formed in order to insert the seed. A pin(50) is inserted into the first notch of the body.
