PURPOSE: A polarizing plate, a method for manufacturing a polarizing plate, and a liquid crystal display device are provided to reduce reflection of external light as incident light from sunlight or a lighting apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A polarizing plate(1) includes a polarizing layer(2), a first support layer(3), a second support layer(4), and a low reflective layer(5). The polarizing layer is formed to polarize the light. The first support layer is coupled with an upper side of the polarizing layer. The second support layer is coupled with a lower side of the polarizing layer. The low reflective layer is formed at an upper side of the first support layer and is formed from a mixture including a photo-catalyst material. The photo-catalyst material is composed of one of titanium dioxide(TiO2), zinc oxide(ZnO), cadmium sulfide(CdS), zirconium dioxide(ZrO2), tin dioxide(SnO2), and tungsten trioxide(WO3).
