[Also in Division B1] In a suction cleaner comprising two housing parts 11, 12, enclosing a dust collector and a fan motor unit, respectively, the dust collector comprises a perforated container or a rigid frame 37, 38 carrying a filter 39, clamped between a wall 19 of the part 12 and the end wall 41 of the part 11. The end of the frame 37, 38 may be oval and a paper filler (not shown) may be clamped between it and an elastic ring 44 in a groove in the wall 41.
