PURPOSE: A backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device is provided to prevent light leakage while reducing the weight and manufacturing costs of the backlight unit. CONSTITUTION: A backlight unit of a liquid crystal display device comprises a light source(150) which emits light, a light guide plate(140) which is arranged in parallel with the light source, and a light source housing(200) which covers the light source. A groove or a hole are formed on the outer part of the light source housing in order to reduce the dynamic stability of the light source housing. |
